eeprom settings televisions

Ok, Then read the contents of the eeprom, save it in binary (bin) form, then use an editor (example ultraedit), open the file then make your corrections.
Save the file, and reprogram the eeprom with the new binary file.

Cheers

Make sure to backup of the binary before you change anything in the file, in case anything goes wrong when you edit it.
Or even better you can store the original EEPROM and program the edited file into a new EEPROM instead. The you can always insert the original EEPROM if the edited EEPROM doesn't work.

i need some some help from u m8's,
if we reprogram the eeprom , can we change the company logo of a television ?
if it is so then when we change a faulty eeprom with a new one then y does it not changes the logo ?

Normaly the only things that can be user programmed are written into the eeprom. Except in some cases lookup tables are on eeprom, then the mcu knows where to find the specific data it requires.
In most cases the initial eeprom settings are written on mask rom in the mcu, and when you replace the eeprom the mcu writes the default values ( it reads certain places of the eeprom where there should be data, if it reads FF it assumes that the eeprom is empty).
Company logos are always written on mask rom, unless i'ts some sort of el'cheapo OEM TV, and the brand name is stored on eeprom, but I have never come across any instance so far.

Cheers
sda
