fingerprint recognition project

is there anyone who did already work on FINGERPRINT RECOGNITION project??i want to have complete guidance on it and secondly i want GENETIC ALGORITHM for it...which i would laterly implement on MATLAB...i need MATLAB code too...
plz plz help me out..
