Can any one tell me how to select batteries for telecom equipments operting at -48C DC?
What are the factors which are most important to consider while selecting a battery?

The importnat thing to look out is the lifetime of the batteries.... You have to know how many hours the battery can go on at an particular kwH

The price, and environment either.
In telecom, Ni-Cd battery, not lead acide, is preferrable.
