How to program ENC28J60?

Hi there,

I am trying to use an ENC28J60 for a school project. This project is about a development kit to allow the communication between 2 uP using an ethernet interface. I have choose to use the ENC28J60 in the ethernet interface but i still haven't found a way of progamming it! Does anyone know how to program a ENC28J60 or the way of programming???

ENC is connected via SPI.
