How to prevent 0.25sec pulse from PIC18 and olny let 1sec one to pass?

i have a pulse comming out from pic18 and it is high sometimes 0.25sec or 1sec i need it 1 sec ((only)) to pass to another circuit ..
what shall i do to prevent 0.25sec and only let 1sec to pass and i hope its with degital logic ???plz there is no time sorry

Hi,

If the interval between pulses is more than one sec:

1.Generate a 0.3 sec. delayed pulse from the rising edge of the pulses and having a pulse width of 0.7 sec.

2. AND the delayed pulse with the input pulse stream and you will get at the output of the AND gate a 0.7 sec pulse for every one sec. pulse only.

3. Pulse width may be reduced to allow faster repetition rate of pulses.
