an embedded system programmer must have a blended knowledge of both hardware and software. a strong knowledge in hardware, alp and C are must and also a reasonable working knowledge operating systems
 

Work on a simple project using OS and make sure you complete it. You can do any project on internet. Then you will be able to decide yourself.

1. Learn microprocessor system architecture
2. Learn C or assembly
3. Learn interfacing techniques (as needed)
3. Learn RTOS (if necessary)
 

i am using a 80486dx4 microprocessor.I am facing the problem with ADS signal.

Added after 1 minutes:

I am not able to find whether processor is working or not.
