How to monitor the power level at the output?

Monitor the power level

Hi all,

I want to monitor the power at the output of each stage of my high power amplifier. Can any help me with this please?

Hi,

without more info of your amp design ....

here are 2 suggestions....

1) if the stages follow each other on the same PCB layout then have a stripline directional coupler between the stages from which you will able to derive a RF voltage.

2) if the amplifier stages are separate (ie modular) then a you can use a Narda
or some other brand directional coupler between the stages with your choice of connector say N type or SMA
