how to map virtual memory into physical memory using C

Re: mapping of memory

That's a work of OS or computer architecture?

mapping of memory

no it should be explictly done during coding and has used in the same way....

mapping of memory

Using C needn't consider the hardware.

Re: mapping of memory

It will be done in the OS startup code in a stand alone system. Just check with the OS manuals and your hardware specs.

Re: mapping of memory

no need to do that using C, it is taken care by the OS, and the compiler.

mapping of memory

I think we can also do it by using pointer.... i dont know exactly but far and huge pointer funda help us....

mapping of memory

sure you can do it by writing your own mem management code if you want
