how to make a robotic gripper??

guys, i have made a robotic arm using 8051 mc and 2stepper motors but now i need a cheap robotic gripper to pick and place for example: a coke can...so any one can please help me where to buy this cheap gripper or how could i make it at home...plz guide me guys?????:?:
