Hi all...
I have a question...
if a 1 amp-hour battery is connected to a mobile, and the mobile draws 35mA
current .... how long will the mobile last???? If the mobile receives 1-call and consumes 250mA, how long will the mobile last then...

Thanx in advance...

Re: Battery Life ?????

1Ah = 1000mAh

1000mAh / 35mA ==> 28.57h

In the second case everythig depends on the duration of the call ..

If, for example, that call lasted for 1/4 h, it drained battery of 1/16 of its capacity (1/4h * 1/4A = 62.5mAh), so what's left: 1000mAh-62.5mAh = 937.5mAh
937.5mAh / 35mA ==> 26.79h ..

Regards,
IanP

Re: Battery Life ?????

IN ADDITION TO ABOVE ANALYSIS, YOU NEED TO MULIPLY 0.9 TO THE ESTIMATED TIME IN ORDER TO COMPENSATE FOR LOSSES.
