Motion sensor

Hi all,

Anyone know how to do a motion sensor in 2.45GHz? thanks

Motion sensor

2.45GHz? Lots of stuff will be transparent to that RF frequency. Therefore, how will you detect motion? Why not use the common infrared stuff that detects a changing heat profile. Another solution is to use ultrasonic chirps to measure distance and tell when an object moves closer or farther away.

Re: Motion sensor

Thx banjo, but I need wireless motion sensor work on 2.4 GHz. Do you have any information of this

Re: Motion sensor

Here is an example

Re: Motion sensor

Dear Vfone,

Thank you very much for your example. In the circuit, do you know what is ustrip mean?

Re: Motion sensor

Is a microstrip transmission line, which dimensions (width and length) in this case are not very critical. Just try some experiments.
