2.45GHz? Lots of stuff will be transparent to that RF frequency. Therefore, how will you detect motion? Why not use the common infrared stuff that detects a changing heat profile. Another solution is to use ultrasonic chirps to measure distance and tell when an object moves closer or farther away.
