Hi,
First, sorry for my english:)
Question is how can I detect UMTS signal? I design GSM/UMTS/LTE amplifier for car. The idea is that if I am in UMTS signal range, amplifier must detect this signal and switch to UMTS mode amplification. For this moment I'a interesting only in UMTS.
I found something like this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CDAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.piers.org%2Fpiersonline%2Fdownload.php%3Ffile%3DMTAwOTE2MDQwOTQ3fFZvbDdObzFQYWdlNTF0bzU0LnBkZg%3D%3D&ei=feF7UbKPN8_EswbN-4GgBw&usg=AFQjCNFNp6Lt6ijPipypkZqTDTzKMYfiTQ&sig2=diVoR7UmEOKZuLCdyluPGw, but this is not an option.

Does anyone have some ideas? Regards.

I think modulation types UMTS/GSM/LTE are detected by Baseband Processor.RF circuit can detect the signal level and frequency only...
