convert sch to pdf

I received a complex schematics in several pages of Adobe acobat format.
Are there any software can convert it back to schematics file.

Regards,

Cathay

convert schematic to pdf

I think its not possible, If any body have solution for it, that will be great.

convert pdf to sch

I never hear it !!!

mkbs :not:

klipper utility from desktop eda

if sch program program include *.jpeg or *.bmp import opsion, it may be posible

impossible

convert .sch to pdf

Do you have the full version of Acrobat?

If it isn't a major problem, I'd like to try with just one of the pages and see what can be done with it.
You could just email one page, that's up to you.

Also what program(s) are you using for your schematics?

Dear GusM,
how do you want to do this? Would you please explain?
Best regards, ep20k.

convert .sch to .pdf

Schematic file is rather complex thing - it contains net connections, net names, various components attributes and so on. What you have in Adobe file is just picture without any additional info in electric sense. Although theoretically net list could be rebuilt from picture, I've never heard is such software exist.

convert pdf to schematics

Maybe this will work. From a little searching.

Step 1st is to convert pdf file to BMP by Photoshop. Then you can use Klipper utility from Desktop EDA (**broken link removed**). This utility imports raster graphic file into PCB or SCH how array of fills (or lines). You need only adjust the scale. So you can get Gerber from Adobe' pdf file. We use this method to restore very old project or to copy another's boards. Then you can place footprints and generate netlist from connected copper.
If you will have netlist you can add new layers and route pcb with your set of Desig Rules.
Let us know if it does what you need, might be useful to others.

Hi GusM,
I don't think this procedure will generate a schematic file.

So you can get Gerber from Adobe' pdf file.

Cathay has the copy of a schematic. Not a grafic-file from a Gerber.

And even if he would have the Gerber or layout file belonging to this schematic, I don't see a way to generate a schematic file.

Thank you for all the idea and helps!

If there is no software can do a single step conversion from acrobat to schematics, any other tool facilate the manual process helps too. Can anyone PM me where can I found Klipper? I will also take a look at bmp2pcb source code and report what I found out here later.

translate pdf diagrams

If you have the Distiller (from Adobe), it's simple:
print the schematic in a postscript printer, with option 'print to file'. Then open this file with Distiller: it will be converted in a pdf.
I hope it can help.

creating pdf schematicd

It's pointless, you wuill have no part library details on any schematic from this source.

You would also not be entirely sure as to the accuracy of any connections etc.

Not something to be relied upon for any production.

It is much safer to just print it out & redraw it in your CAD package.

converting schematics to postscript

just install adobe acrobat full edition, and print

how can change schematic to pdf

I'm using Protel 98 (an old software instead) to create PCB layouts, and I also have Adobe Professional in my PC. Since I don't have a printer, I opted to print my PCB layout to PDF files, so that I can print them outside of my house even though there is no Protel Outside. However, my problem is that the layout in PDF, when I printed it, was scaled down by a certain factor from the original measurements (for example, the 100 mils in my original layout was scaled down to about 90 mils, causing the IC holes to don't fit through the printed layout). When I printed from Protel, I configured it so that it is not scaled, but the problem still persists. What is the possible solution for that?

converting schematic diagram in icms to pdf

follow the following steps.

1. intall pdf995 software, its a free version
2. open the schematic window
3. go to file and then print
4. instead of the current printer, choose pdf995 and then hit print

how do i convert .pdf to .sch schematic

i think so it can be possible. if u r pdf is dont have any lock or password then try to copy that image and sabe it as the jpeg file. if u r able to do that as per above reply u can impot that to the aany cad toll.thank u.

convert .sch

Somehow I think that 1/2 of you are getting the wrong end of the stick & the other half pulling the wrong leg?

The thread is about converting a PDF INTO a schematic, not about how to print a PDF from a schematic.

Or have I got the wrong idea too? :D
