hi,
i have a small pump which i got from a washing machine this pump is concerned for draining water from the machine after washing time.

the characteristics : 220/240 v, 30 w, 0.2 A, 20 L/min

the question is that can i get the r.p.m (revolution per min) of the pump from the water flow 20 Liter / min ????

that's all, i wait replies

thanks

Re: pump r.p.m

well veiledcavalier,
this is not enough information to know the rpm, u need to state the geometry of the impeller in order to calculate the needed rpm for this discharge. But i guess if this is an AC induction motor, most probably it will be rotating at a speed of around 1450 rpm.
