hi friends
does anyone know how to calculate the checksum of TCP/IP packet, especially for PPP? i wanna use it to generate my own PPP packet using microcontroller

thankz all

Re: TCP IP checksum

Hey,, you should download RFC793

just use google..

TCP IP checksum

Also get:
RFC 1071: "Computing the Internet Checksum"

I don't see any mention of checksum in PPP:
RFC 1661: "The Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP)"

Re: TCP IP checksum

Hi all,
Does anyone explain this circuit?
I'd like to send data from AVR to web servers and from web servers to AVR
but I don't know how to do that because I don't know how to program the AVR.
For example how to send "12345"string from AVR to web servers?

Please help me?
Best regards.
