B/W LCDs

Hello

I'm working on an embedded linux project that needs a multiline LCD. And I can allot only an 8pin GPIO port for it. I'd like it to be atleast 2 line, but the more lines, the better. Could someone help me find one?

Thanks

Re: B/W LCDs

Most of the small text LCD modules use the same processor. They also have the same interface. This interface can use either an 8 bit bus or a 4 bit bus. In 4 bit bus mode they require 4 lines for the bus plus 2 lines for control purposes. Take a look at this link:
https://www.myke.com/lcd.htm for an example. Search on google there is a lot of info regarding this
