varactor in VCO

How can we place our Varactor diode in generator network if we are designing using transmission line and parrellel stubs(not using discrete components).

varactor in VCO

in high frequency oscilator usually use screw dielectiric instead of varactor diode.
but if you want to use the varactor diode you must place it in revers bias and between to line of transmision line and for tuninig the supply must be throgh from RFC and decoupling capacitor.

Re: varactor in VCO

My design is of 2 GHz.Varctor should be in series or parrellel?Between two trnsmission line or between transmission line and ground.

Re: varactor in VCO

for better understanding search for transmitter in 2.4GHz band.
one of this transmitter are bellow.
