hi all :
when we research the antenna's pattern. how to set to get the co and cross pol ?
for example: if i want to get the XZ plane then i should do as follows:
1) hfss-->result-->create report
2)report type: Far Fields & Display type: Radition Pattern
3) in the sweep tab, select Phi under the name column, and on the drop list, select Theta, which changes theprimary sweep to Theta.

Then how to set to get the co and cross pol ? since i don't know how to set it in HFSS , wish your help.
i will appreciate your help a lot
thanks in advance.
kaka

ps: supposed the coordinate is like the figure attached , and generally it is in hfss's default mode

Added after 1 hours 18 minutes:

can 't attach the figure . ..
the patch width is along x axis , and the patch length along y axis. z axis is vertical to the xy plane .
thanks
kaka

To check co- and cross pol

u can see realised gain x aND REALISED GAINY

x is co- and y is pol depending if ur antenna is in XY plane and z rep broadside and y rep endfire direction

as i know,co-pol is the main pol, cross pol is the subordinate pol
