help with high voltage creative idea

also, in theory it looks to me logical that it is a doubler, but practically i got 550 volts out of it, when the output capacitor was only at 210v.
can it be designed to be a doubler and not more ? (420v when the big cap is at 210v)
 

You could try reconnecting the second diode like this, but then you'll probably get less than double the voltage.
