d star algorithm

Hi all,

can anyone help me understand the D star algorithm devised by anthony stentz of carnegie mellon university in simple words as the paper presented has gone directly over my head and I tried to go through it 4-5 times.

I'll be really gratefull... if someone can come up with better explanation of the algorithm.
