Help to identify circuit took from a mixer

Can anyone please help me with this circuit and what is it for. I took it off a mixer it was directly connected to the outlet via the blue and brown wires.

It is a simple mains interference filter, either to protect the rest of the device from mains borne noise or to prevent internally generated noise going out along the power cable.
