Help me identify a LCD from a microwave equipment

stranger lcd

hello, i have an lcd that I catch from a microwave equipment, but i dont know how its works and your type!! Looks like a 7-segment display gray.

Hi,

You can make a guess on what LCD type is, by examining the number of conexions or pins it have, normally a 7 seven segment LCD has one for every segment it have, as an example if the LCD is 3 digits, then it have at lest 22 pins (7 pins for every digit, equals to 21, plus backplane pin) besides if the displays have decimal points then you must add a pin for each decimal point, if your display have less conexions or pins then it's not a 7 segment LCD.
