I did not mention groups with less than 200 members or less than 10 messages / months as I consider them useless
(e.g. Renesas Microcontrollers has 2 members and one message during its existence)

For example the LPC2000 group has approx. 20 messages / day so that is really active.

As my knowledge is mostly about 8051 and ARM micros I limited the posting to these architectures.
