Hi all

i have a question?

when we use cs-1 , cs-2 , cs-3 and cs-4

is the mobile station can support all this coding schemes

and what is the diffrence in hardware between these coding schemes

Hello,

In term of hardware, nothing changes as the same modulation is used whatever the coding scheme is.
Your mobile station has to support all CS to be GPRS compliant.
I hope this help.

About the CS coding schemes...
These are used when the mobile tries for GPRS access. &
About supporting coding schemes...
If Mobile is GPRS capable it should support all the CS coding schemes whether NW supports or not.
If Mobile is EGPRS Capable then it should support all the coding schemes.(CS 1 to 4 & MCS 1 to 9).
