I want to know which matlab version is fastest for loops 2 dimension and 3 dimension and easy to processor of computer to do (run time)
Matlab 6.5 or 7.0

Hi,

Its not that which MATLAB version is faster, it depends upon how u program. If you are using vectorized approach in programming then its fast and efficient. Please see this link for efficient MATLAB programming

h**p://web.cecs.pdx.edu/~gerry/MATLAB/programming/performance.html

or u can check MATLAB central site for efficient programming as well.

BR,

Arif Khan

I mean that in matrices wth 2 or 3 dimension

The new MATLAB 7.4 supports multiprocessors for some operations. Maybe you can write your program to take advantage of it.
