Extreme burner problem (writing code to chip)

I used extreme burner with mega8 defualt fuse and successfuly burnt then i configured clock as shown in picture internal Rc 8Mhz , then i write the code to the chip it fails and give power faild,communication failed. please tell me what happend?

Provide more details please.
1. How do you know the code that you had written to the chip failed?
2. Can you start debugging and hit the breakpoint at the beginning of the main function? Can you make a step by step through lines?
3. You said that communication failed, but communication with what and through what interface?
