Is there something more specific that you dont understand? If not try reading Razavi... It is basically all about bisection theorem, so when you understand that, it is easy to understant the rest...

Refer David A.Bell "Electronic Devices and Circuits", Prentice Hall of India Publications. It costs you around Rs.350/- Indian Currency.
