there is tutorial in samples folder interfacing PIC16f8877 with LCD.they are using d39 file instead of .hex formatt .How to create d39 formatt from hex file or the C file

Hi,

That demo runs ok, so not sure what your Error is refering to ??

As it states on the layout the d39 file is created by the IAR compliers.
All its source code is in the same sample folder.

No reason you cannot run a standard .hex file on that design though.
