[General] Driver or Interfacing standard ICS

Can someone list me the standard driver IC used to interface with micro controller .I mean the interfacing IC of the Component with Microcontroller

My question is In order to communicate a device (Eg: Stepper Motor) we use a driver IC for it. Likewise i would like to know the standard driver IC or interface IC for Sensor,Circuit Breaker etc.Can u get my question.?

Please read this documents: 1) Microcontroller Interfacing Circuits and 2) Microcontroller Interfacing. Otherwise you can make a Google search. There is no such dedicated ICs to suit this purpose as far as I know.
