Hi all,

Here is Digital question..If you know the answer/resource then plz post it.

Question : Design a Circuit that Caluclates the square of a number.

Any multiplication circuit can do this given that multiplier and multiplicand has the same value. I don't realy know if there is a special alghorthem for that.

simple multipliers will do this with both the input given the same value.
 

Please find the ckt in Morrismano new edition..still if u can't get do reply to me
 

it rely on the you input bit width
many methods can be used, include arithmetic unit, RAM, logic circuitry etc.
