Difference between annular & rectangular microstrip ante

Dear All

are there any diffrent between ((annular microstrip antenna)) and ((rectangular microstrip antenna)).

Hi rushdy,

I think the difference is annular microstrip antenna - microstrip antenna shaped like a ring and rectangular microstrip antenna an antenna shaped like a rectangle:) I don't know of any other subtle difference there might be.

There will probably be a difference in the radiating pattern. In horn antennas, round ones have lower sidelobes than rectangular and square ones.
