I have designed a coaxial cavity duplexer. The results are good in the simulations and now I need to get it machined (aluminium block) and plated (silver). I am not so sure about how to decide the plating thickness. I know it depends on the operating frequency and the skin depth. Are there any other considerations in deciding this?
