Hi everyone!

I'm trying to design a tapered microstrip to parallel stripline balun in ADS. I have imported the layout in .dxf with three different layers (upper conductor, dielectric and bottom conductor/ground).

My question is about how to match each substrate layer with its corresponding layout layer. Will ADS understand that the ground layer tapers and turns into stripline?

I hope anyone can help me.

Thanks,

Agge
