Hi All,

I have got a measured s2p file and I need to de-embed it. I have also measured Open, Short, and Thru.

What would be the straightforward method using ADS to de-embed the raw data?

Thanks!

I think that is only measuring using test fixture. De-embed it become after additional test fixtures Open, Short, and Thru.

What would be your suggestion? I am a bit confused!

Something like these.

Thanks for your info. Let me explain more, I have taped-out a passive component and I would like to de-embed the PADS effect. I have also taped-out an OPEN, SHORT, and THRU of the DUT structure. How can I perform de-embedding?

On the pic. is thru and you should add short, loaded with small noniductive resistors and proper length and so on .
It has successfully Dan such staff for 2.5GHz. One company doesn't provide S par for one PA chip. Only ref design, witch was not so accurate with unknown substrate and crazy thickness.
And you should have bias network as well.
