Hello all,

I have a pretty large design that fails DC Convergence in HSIM, the only warnings I get are the following:

Code:
Warning: node "KEY_READY_O" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[4]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[1]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[0]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[2]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[3]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[5]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[6]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "DATA_O[7]" has only 1 connection
Warning: node "VALID_O" has only 1 connection
Warning: 10 nodes with connectivity problems are reported in 'hsim.conn'

DC initialization ended after 250 iterations without convergence

But all these 10 nodes are the output ports so it's logical to have one connection, also the input ports don't cause a problem since they're connected to the vector file....so why HSIM give these warnings while I'm including these nodes as top level ports ? Should I explicitly define them as outputs in the setup file, if yes then how ?

Thanks

Hi,

I do not use HSIM, but perhaps you may try to add a load to gnd, to ensure some current flowing accross the node...

Regards,
Gag
