Hello Everyone,

I am new to CST.

Can anybody tell me how to make a via hole in CST ?

I have a copper layer of 0.542mm thickness.

I make a cylinder of height 0.542 (Zmin=0 and Zmax=0.542).

when i click OK, I tell CST to cut away the cylinder.

But I cannot see a via hole in the copper layer.

Thanks in Advnace.

You can try the following:
When you draw the cylinder and CST asks you what to do select "None". The you should have the copper layer and the cylinder.
Select the copper layer go to Objects->boolean->substract and then select the cylinder and press ENTER.
Now the copper layer should have a hole.
