Hello group,

my question regards CST MWS:

What is your experience with CST when you simulate two shapes,
e.g. perpendicular microstrips (T-junction, whatever..) alone and
added together with the boolean operation "add".

For sure, you' ill have different results because meshing would be
organized differently.

Now when I want to optimize a structure, I would use the Optimizer,
which uses parameters only for one of the shapes. That is, I will always
simulate with the non-added configuration of my system.

What's your experience, how do you solve this issue in general or
in detail ??

An example.

cst boolean

Hello ,

I found a solution .. ;)
Actually , if you are using 2009 and adding the objects together, you may
still find the parameters within the common object, but on a deeper
level. If you change one parameter it will be updated.
I don't know why this didnt work before in my structure.
