Correct h264 encoding for nova h.264 decoder

I'm using the nova h.264/avc baseline decoder and want to change the input.What are the other configurations in order for the decoder to be able to decode/output a correct result ?
I get perfect results with given test. Figured profile=66 and level =30 but still when decoding it's full of artifacts and it looks really bad.
Could somebody help ?
