trasistors

Please tell me the part numbers of complementary 1 A NPN and PNP trasistors , if someone knows.I also need matching diodes for power amplification purposes.

take a look at the BD135 (137 or 139) as NPN and the BD136 (138 or 140) as PNP ..

I also need matching diodes
pls. explain ..

Two diodes in series between the bases of the complimentary output or driver transistors must have the same forward voltage of the bese-emitter junctions of the transistors to eliminate crossover distortion, eliminate an idle current that is too high and to adjust the current in the transistors to remain steady as the temperature changes.

But diodes and transistors do not match well enough.

Most audio amplifiers use a transistor to multiply the voltage and it is adjustable with a trimpot.
