This combination lock design can apply on the safety box. This design is tested on the Altera DE2 Board, the pin assignment for the FPGA is set. This design is running at 50Mhz.
The specification is as below:
• Accepts four,five or six digits passwords from keypad
• Choose length of password by pressing '#' key
• Has 6 digits of 7-segment displays
• Displays ‘-’ for each key pressed
• Require password confirmation
• Displays ‘-LOC- -’ when successfully locked
• Displays ‘-OPEN-’ when to open the lock
• The password will reset to empty when the door is opened
• Use GUI to reset and set new password
• The keypad is made from 10 output switches, active-low
