Circuit Simulator software / freeware

Hi all I've been trying Proteus VSM, but only a demo version.
have you guys have any suggestion of any software similar to this or any circuit simulation program that can accomodate microcontrollers, please reply asap.

I need to document my experiments to have it patented..
