Hi im trying to figure out what power rating i need for a resistor (ie. 1/10 W, etc)
from what i read, the power rating is the power across the resistor..is this right?
To calculcate it, do I just find the power by (v^2)/Resistance...
where v is the difference in voltage on both sides of the resistor ? (Vin-Vout in other words)....or am I calculating this incorrectly.
Thanks.
