I'm working on a project that is supposed to use a laser beam to engrave symbols on such surfaces as wood. There're tutorials on the Internet about converting a regular laser pointer into a burning device (uses DVD diode) but its power is not sufficient for my purpose.

Is there any way I could build this myself without having to buy one from the market? e.g using a stronger/weaker diode? If not then is there anything in the market?

Thanks in advance.

i have online resources who sold high laser diode from 5 watt to 100 watt output.but this is illegal one, please send me ur email,we can contact via email.if u interesting email me at tri.pleiades@gmail.com
