Hi all

So I am designing a wireless power transfer system with four coils (Source-loop, Tx-coil, Rx-coil & Load-loop). I have ran numerous simulations and I observed the following with regards to assigning ports and the S11:

- When I assign lumped port to the Source and Load, the S11 plot shows two peaks
- When I assign lumped port to the Source and lumped RLC (50 ohm) to the Load, the S11 has only one peak

- When I have lumped port assigned to the Source and Load, I am able to view (S11, S12, S21, S22)
- With only the Source assigned with the lumped port I can only view S11

I need to see S21 so that I can find the efficiency of the system, is there some basics I'm missing? Can anyone please guide me into what I need to do correctly.

Thanks for your time

Johan
