Hey guys,

I'm working on a 50 Hz, 230V (RMS) flyback converter, the input source current contains DC generator, switching frequency ripple. Then how can I calculate the efficiency of converter?

how its work bloc of RMS in simulink?

Hi,

For the AC side I recommend a good AC energy meter, one that is made for "any" waveform.
For the DC side.... as long as voltage is about stable, then you may average the current and multiply it with the voltage.

Now you have input power and output power....all you need to know.

Thanks Klaus,

sir,

Currently i am doing simulation using simpowersystems (matlab/Simulink) . Thus I have harmonics in output THD=4.5%. Due, I wanna a truck or example how to measure the efficiency using Simulink.

Again Thank you so much.
