Hey guys
I have just begun my masters studies and I am wondering if data converters are a good field for my thesis. I am generally interested in fields of mixed signal and analog design. Are there sufficient job opportunities for when I graduate. what if I want to start my PHD career ?
What do you suggest ?

Best Regards

P.S. I don't care if they are hard or not. I am sure I can manage it.

Well, a lot of research still seems to go on but to my observation
it's getting more and more refined, with fewer and fewer real
exciting breakthroughs left to discover. They are a key element of
most mixed signal / SOC products and they support some specialization
so they're not a bad choice career-wise, I guess. If you want your
career to be about specialization, rather than (say) variety.
