any idea about 8x8 bicolor matrix

Hi guys,
I saw the Moving Msg with bicolor 8x8 matrix.any idea about the design that how can insert the other color in for e.g "welcome to systek".the first two owrds shown in one color while 'systek' shown in other.

Second how the graphical signs shown on display.Any software?

Third that after msg ends,the unit display time and temperature.Any code?

NOTE:I am using AVR + Codevision C compiler.[/b]
