Is AMIS c5 libraries compatible with cadence 5.0.33? Can any body tell me how exactly do setup for AMIS libraries. I have downloaded c5 libraries from MOSIS. I have defined cds folder in cds.lib file but still could not able to get models in cellview(schematic) of anlaog environment of cadence.

Do I need any design kit to setup AMIS C5 libraries?

I asked same question in MOSIS user group and got good reply...I hope this might be useful for somebody in future

This design kit is vendor rule based and should not be confused with the NCSU
SCMOS based design kit.

I can't give you a full tutorial in this message, but setup is not that hard.
For schematic entry, you must use the analogLib symbols. In the properties of
each analogLib device, you need to enter the model name of that device, which
can be found in the models directory. i.e for nmos, I believe the model name to

be 'n'. Simulation is done with Analog Environment, and you use either the
Spectre, HSpice, or SmartSpice models.

To draw layout, make a new library that is compiled on the techfile located in
the 'cdstech' directory. Find the display.drf file and copy it to your working
directory. The design rule document is located in the 'design_rules" directory.
I think that only Assura and Calibre are supported DRC/LVS/Extraction decks at
this time. If you are at a university and have Cadence licensing, you can
obtain Assura through that licensing.
