Hi. I need to make a setup using USRP front ends to capture GPS signals, using two different active antennas (not with both antennas used simultaneously).
The first antenna is an ublox with following characteristics:
  • Supply voltage: 3.0 - 5.0 V
  • Supply current: Typ. 15 mA

The second antenna is an Tallysman with following characteristics:
  • Supply voltage: 3.0 - 16.0 V
  • Supply current: Typ. 50 mA

I understand that I need a bias tee to supply the antenna with what it needs.
I found this solution very unesthetic and unpractical with all the cables visible:

With DC powered via SMA connector, the cables are not showing but I have no idea how to wire the cables to the DC connector like this:

So, I was thing about a USB powered solution. Jetvistion has this (https://webshop.jetvision.de/en/product/bias-tee/#):

But unfortunately they are sold out.
I was thinking about buying a SMA to USB cable from Alibaba (link here) and then just plug it into a regular 5V 1A phone charger.
Then this would be my setup:

Is this something stupid?
Will it cause any problems or issues?
